Interconnect
Source to amplifier. The smallest signal on the chain, and the one most exposed to noise.
This is the weakest signal in the system, still unamplified. Anything that leaks in here gets magnified along with the music. So most of the work on this family goes into the braid and the insulation, not the gauge.
